Andrzej Duda calls missile strike an accident
The Polish president visited the site of the missile explosion which claimed two lives in Przewodow on Tuesday.
As V4NA also reported, a missile hit the territory of Poland on Tuesday afternoon. The explosion claimed two lives in Przewodow, near the Ukrainian border. Polish President Andrzej Duda visited the site on Thurdsday.

In the press briefing after visiting the site of impact, the Polish president said that specialist were still investigating the location and collecting evidence. President Duda said however, that both he and the experts agree that „it was definitely an accident, absolutely unintentional,” adding that „it is not that this missile was aimed at attacking Poland.”

„No one wanted to harm Poland, let alone deprive anyone of their life,” the Polish president said, adding that it was simply a tragedy.
„In a sense, it is our common tragedy,”
Mr Duda said.
Journalists also asked the Polish president whether Ukrainian investigators would be involved in the investigation of the incident, as requested by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the wnp.pl portal writes. „This requires the implementation of the relevant provisions of international law and international agreements,” Mr Duda replied, adding that he had spoken to the prosecutor at the site and assured him that he had a „very sympathetic but also law-abiding” approach towards Ukraine.
„Everything must be done in accordance with the relevant regulations and laws,”
the Polish president underlined.
