A former PBS employee said he would send the children of Republican voters to re-education camps. He also said that "Trump is close to Hitler." He shared his views before the presidential elections took place in November, unaware of being recorded on camera.

Project Veritas has recently published a video on its website, in which Michael Beller says that the children of Republican voters „are growing up knowing nothing but Trump… for four years.” Therefore people should give it some thought what kind of grown-ups they will be because, according to Beller, conservative parents „will be raising a generation of intolerant, horrible people.”

The lawyer, who previously worked for PBS, also said on the recording that if Democrat Joe Biden wins, they will still go for all the Republican voters, and Homeland Security will take their children from them and put them into re-education camps. He also called them „enlightenment camps” and said that „they re nice. They have Sesame Street characters in the classroom, and they watch PBS all day.”

In addition to separating children from their parents, the lawyer likened Trump to Hitler. When asked what would happen if Trump won the election, he said he would throw Molotov cocktails at the White House. He didn t spare the news outlets either saying CNN no longer reports real news and Fox News makes him „want to throw up.”

He used similarly harsh words when referring to his compatriots. Michael Beller said Americans are dumb, except for those in Washington who are educated people. He  also expressed pleasure in the rising numbers of coronavirus cases before the election in the typically Republican states. According to Beller, fewer Republican supporters would make it to the polls because they would be „sick and dying.”

PBS responded to the appalling leaked recording. They reported that Beller was no longer working for them, and when he said these divisive thoughts, he did so in a personal capacity, not on behalf of the organization.
