Relations between Hungary and Serbia have never been as good as they are now, something that required plenty of work in the recent period, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said in Budapest on Friday.

After consulting Serbian Foreign Minister Nikola Selakovic, Hungarian FM Peter Szijjarto emphasised at a joint press briefing that the fate and future of the two countries are closely intertwined because of their history and Vojvodina Hungarians, as well as new projects arising from the strategic partnership.

Serbia s foreign minister emphasised that the good neighbourly ties between Hungary and Serbia had recently developed into a strong and excellent friendship.
