According to an internal memo, the Biden administration has instructed US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) employees to stop using male and female personal pronouns and to use only gender-neutral language in their work.

We recently obtained CBP documents instructing Border Patrol agents to use only „woke” language when encountering individuals invading the United States, the US-based Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

According to the released documents, guidance from the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) asks CBP personnel to use „gender-neutral language” and „self-identified pronouns and names” with all civilians they interact with.

„Do not use the „he, him, she, her” pronouns until you have more information about, or provided by, the individual,”

– the memo says. The documents also suggests the avoidance of salutations, such as „Mr, Mrs, Ms, Sir or Ma’am.”

In other words, the Biden administration has spared no resources in preparing a detailed guidance for border agents on how to address illegal, LGBTQ migrants.

At a time when the US is grappling with a historic illegal immigration crisis on its southern border, such guidelines are clearly unnecessary and serve as a distraction, according to one union leader.

„We can’t be concerned about hurting someone’s feelings,” Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told Just the News about the pamphlet. Should we really take the time to deal with this, instead of the actual laws that [we] are supposed to abide by? This is the ‘woke mob,” he added.

Mike Howell, director of the Oversight Project, which obtained the memo, voiced an even stronger opinion:

„Apparently, the Biden administration betraying its Customs and Border Protection employees by deliberately unleashing chaos on the southern border was not enough. Now the radical political leadership is enlisting agents in a ‘compelled speech program’ to address illegal migrants by their favorite pronouns.”

– Mr Howell told Fox News.

The memo was described by House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Rep. Mark Green as an insult to those fighting the border crisis.

„It’s a mockery of those who are doing their best to keep our borders safe.”

– he said.

As is known, the Biden administration has abolished many of the regulations put in place during Donald Trump’s presidency. They put a halt on the construction of the southern border wall and also changed the so-called Migrant Protection Protocols (MPPs). The number of deportations have also started to plummet, leading to an unprecedented migrant crisis at the border, with host states and cities being overwhelmed by the massive crowds of unauthorized migrants.
