The government cabinet is comprised of ministers in charge of the various professional cabinets. The extraordinary meeting is being held because there is an energy crisis in Europe: energy prices are rising due to the war in Ukraine, and in recent days it has become clear that there will not be sufficient gas supplies in countries of the EU during the autumn-winter period, Bertalan Havasi, the PM’s press chief, told Hungary’s news agency (MTI). PM Orban also shared a photo of the meeting on social media.
