At the meeting, they agreed that

we have entered an age of dangers; the war in Ukraine, Brussels’s flawed sanctions and the energy crisis have driven many settlements in Hungary into a difficult situation.

Hungary’s government’s aim is to protect the people living in cities, as well as pensioners, families, the household utility reduction scheme and jobs.

PM Orban and Karoly Szita have reviewed what kind of help the state can provide to settlements in difficult situations, Bertalan Havasi, Mr Orban’s press chief said.
