Greenpeace activists accused Minister Michal Wos of being an executor of the business plans of the „forest barons.” They hanged a billboard on the ministry building with the message „Stop deforestation.”

„Deforestation? Seriously?” the minister wrote on Twitter, adding that allegations were unfounded lies. In his post, he listed the results the government has achieved in the past 10 years: forest areas have increased, forest management has improved, the number of trees older than 100 years has grown by 25 per cent, and a protected forest area of 530 hectares has been designated, which is larger than all national parks in the country combined.
