Poland s president has accepted a rap challenge to throw his weight behind a charitable fundraising project initiated by Polish rappers to support health workers.

Polish President Andrzej Duda s recent rap video, initiated by a group of Polish rappers under the „Hot16Challenge2” tag, has become a sweeping success. The president, chanting all the 16 lines of the lyrics with a determined gaze, has uploaded the video to his official YouTube channel with a view to praising healthcare workers and encouraging people to value their hard work with donations.

„They don t ask for your name, they fight in dense fog,” says the Polish presidential election s strongest candidate. In a bid to reach out to young people during his campaign, Mr Duda has become active across all social media platforms, including the video sharing TikTok site.

Eventually, Mr Duda called on Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki to join the initiative with his own number. So far the challenge has inspired numerous celebrities, such as Ombudsman Adam Bodnar, raising the equivalent of 220 thousand euros for the support of the country s health services.
