Soros network alive in Romania

An entire network is encompassing the globe with the aim of manipulating public life and political actors according to George Soros s interests, a Romanian daily writes. The newspaper claims that Soros s "pseudo civilians" were clearly present among the organisers of several Romanian anti-graft protests.

The Romanian daily Cotidianul reacted to an article published in The Washington Post on 30 September, where the author is full of praise for a certain George Soros.

The author of the Washington Post piece writes: „I was reminded of a reporting trip I took to Romania and Slovakia in 2017. Protesters had taken to the streets in both countries that year demanding that leaders be accountable for their reported corruption. People who wanted to undermine the protesters blamed Soros, claiming he was the real power behind them. I asked some of the protesters and anti-corruption groups working at the time if they received Open Society funding. And many, if not most, of them had.”

Cotidinul reports that the journalist claims that Soros s intentions were clear and noble because „his foundations have tried to support free and independent media, rule of law, fairly monitored elections and, yes, anti-corruption organizations. Accordingly, many NGOs and institutes and centres in Central and Eastern Europe have, at one point or another, received funding from Open Society.”

Commenting on the Washington Post article, the online portal of Cotidianul (cotidianul.ro) has described the author s reasoning as lame. The Romanian site said an entire network is working across the globe with the aim of manipulating public life and political actors according to George Soros s interests. George Soros is not behind these events personally, indeed. However, a whole network created by Soros is in full swing to provide money to the National Endowment for Democracy, USAID, the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, the State Department s Bureau for Democracy and Human Rights, as well as other organisations and institutions,” the newspaper wrote.

According to the Romanian article s author, Ukraine is currently on the „dissecting table of the American political consulting labs.” He goes on to say that it is not simply an 87-year old „incapacitated” man in the background, but also his allies including FBI agents, ambassadors, US Democratic leaders and most of the press.
