Outgoing US Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher has received a special order of merit from Polish President Andrzej Duda for her outstanding work and contribution to cordial relations between Poland and the US.

At the end of her service, the ambassador was awarded the Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland by Polish President Andrzej Duda.

The President s Office wrote that the ambassador received the recognition for her outstanding contribution to Polish-American friendly relations, their cooperation, and their joint efforts in the area of international security.

In the press release, the President s Office recalled the Strategic Partnership Agreement signed by Andrzej Duda and Donald Trump in the spirit of cooperation in the fields of defence, energy, trade, investment and research.

President Duda called the ambassador s term an extremely busy period in Polish-American relations and he expressed his gratitude for her outstanding work and achievements.
