"Woman" redefined to favour trans people
It is possible to redefine the term “woman” to include men who identify as female, all in the spirit of equality and inclusion. A women’s organisation has described the fact that the government intends to redefine what it means to be a woman as truly shocking.
In the name of equality, the definition of women will be broadened to include trans women, i.e. those born as biological males. The organisation called For Women Scotland (FWS) has filed a legal complaint, arguing that the Scottish government s plans run counter to equity laws that clearly define the two genders as male and female.
I m sure we can all agree the rights of women need protecting.https://t.co/kMZhB7MaM9

However, Scottish Judge Morag Wise ruled that the government was legally permitted to adopt a redefinition of „woman” to include men who identify as female, in a law designed to address the number of women on public boards.
The women s rights group said „it will come as a shock to many women in Scotland that the Scottish Government can redefine what it means to be a woman in law, so that it is little more than a name on a utilities bill.” The group added that the legislation s wording „cannot be allowed to stand,” and that it will be consulting its lawyers.
For Women Scotland have lost their legal battle over Scot Gov bill. FWS also argued the Act brought in self-ID by the back door and redefined the definition of a woman.

However, there is another worrying phenomenon in the UK. Research by the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation, a gender identity clinic for children in London, has yielded some shocking results. Researchers assessed 44 patients aged between 12 and 15 years for the study, all of whom were receiving treatment at the clinic for gender dysphoria. The results of their three-year research, which began in 2011, have only just been published, Christian Institute points out.
It reveals that the „great majority” of young people who take puberty blockers tend to move on to cross-sex hormones. It also found that all but one participant had carried on to take cross-sex hormones.
An earlier American study also arrived at similar findings. In this study, 55 children out of a group of 57 eight to fifteen year-olds ended up taking sex-swap drugs after starting on puberty blockers. Similar results were observed in a corresponding Dutch investigation.
It is good that part of the mainstream is now saying what I ve said for years. Puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones & transgender propaganda should be banned for children under 18. No-one should be forced to affirm that a man is a woman or vice versa. https://t.co/2xdBMKvqpS

These findings are shocking because hormone blockers were originally developed to pause precocious puberty – a condition which causes children to begin puberty much earlier than normal – with the intention of taking them off the drugs at the time when ordinary puberty is expected to start.
Until last year, the official guidelines published by NHS stated that the drugs were „considered to be fully reversible”. This was eventually corrected to „little is known about the long-term side effects of hormone or puberty blockers in children with gender dysphoria.”
