Polish PM Mateusz Morawiecki gave an interview to Radio Rodzina, where he also talked about LGBT ideology, which has received a great attention in recent times. Morawiecki stated that there is a great variety of freedoms in Poland and an accepting atmosphere – for those who do not intend to violate the freedoms of others.

According to the premier, it is not a problem if someone has a different opinion, as freedom of opinion is important. He himself is also completely accepting of any ideology, however, the problem occurs, when one violates others freedom and provokes unnecessarily.

That is why Mr Morawiecki believes that Poles say yes to acceptance, but no to pushy propaganda and reinforcing certain ideologies.

The interview was conducted with the Polish prime minister after the Polish Episcopal Conference (KEP) indicated that the Church cannot extend the interpretation of marriage and family to same-sex couples and does not equalise the rights of heterosexual and homosexual marriages. Nor is it acceptable for youngsters from the age of 16 to choose what gender they want to live as.
