Migrant Criminals Stay, Christianity Gets Punished in Britain
In the U.K., double standards have reached an intolerable level.
The British government has admitted that it is currently unable to deport hundreds migrants who pose a “threat” to the nation, including terrorists and extremists. Round the clock surveillance of around 170 dangerous foreign nationals is necessary as a result of human rights laws preventing the Home Office from simply removing them from the United Kingdom, the Sunday Express reported.
Using their old, tried and tested trick, migrant criminals have long appealed to the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR) to avoid deportation. Despite the British public voting to leave the European Union in 2016, the UK’s membership in the ECHR was unaffected as it is technically a separate institution from the EU, even though they share the same flag, anthem, and even campus in Strasbourg – according to the Breitbart news portal.
Successive post-Brexit governments have refused to withdraw from the ECHR, however, amid increasing public anger of the migration crisis, Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood has vowed to overhaul the agreement with fellow member states to prevent hardened criminals and terrorists from avoiding deportation. Yet it remains to be seen if such reforms will be possible.

Indeed, in an impact assessment for the government’s Border Security, Asylum and Immigration Bill, the Home Office admitted:
“Around 170 people are currently on restricted leave, with over half having been involved in terrorism or extremism-related activities.”
This means that while they cannot be removed from the country, the government will surveil those involved in “conduct such as war crimes, crimes against humanity, extremism, serious crime or where the person poses a threat to national security or public safety.”

Border Security and Asylum minister Alex Norris told the Daily Express that the government’s planned reforms will enable the deportation of terrorists. “It is disgraceful that terrorists have been able to stay in the UK under previous rules. Our new laws will place strict restrictions on foreign nationals who pose a threat, tracking their every move,” he said. “These laws will also enable us to get terrorists rapidly deported from British soil and keep our country safe” – he added.
However, others, such as Conservative Shadow Justice Secretary Robert Jenrick said that it demonstrated the need for Britain to withdraw from the ECHR to “deport every single one of these terrorists and extremists.”
“This government is clueless as to how bad the problem is and how to fix it,”
– he added.
In October, the governing Labour Party sided with the radical left Greens and the anti-Brexit Liberal Democrats to vote agains a bill from Reform UK leader Nigel Farage to leave the ECHR. Mr. Farage said that the government is “filled to the brim with woke human rights lawyers” who “prioritise a foreign court in Strasbourg over the security of the British people”.
Criminal Migrants Get Protection, Christians Told to Stay Silent
In the UK the fact that migrants are becoming more „important” than locals is now starting to become noticeable even in the country’s schools.
Recently, a shocking case has emerged of a London primary school teacher being barred from working with children after making comments to a Muslim pupil about Britain’s religious identity. The incident led to the teacher being referred to the local child protection board and even caught the attention of a senior detective from the Met Police’s child abuse investigation team, The Telegraph reports.

According to Express, the unnamed teacher allegedly reprimanded students for washing their feet in the boys’ bathroom sinks. According to Islamic rules, washing the feet is a ritual activity performed before prayer. The teacher reportedly informed the students who complained that the school was not a religious institution, but an Islamic school was just a mile away if they preferred to attend there instead.
The teacher also pointed out that „Britain is still a Christian state” and noted the King’s role as head of the Church of England.
Following the feet-washing incident, the teacher tried to educate the year six class about the importance of tolerance as a British value. However, it was alleged that he reminded the children that Islam is a minority religion in the UK, which sparked further controversy.
A total of three pupils filed written complaints against the teacher, which were reviewed by nine individuals, including the local child-protection officer, a detective sergeant from the child-abuse investigation unit, two social workers, an HR consultant, and the school’s principal. The students claimed that the teacher’s outburst had upset and frightened them, and that he had yelled at them.
The school took swift action, suspending the teacher in March last year and subsequently dismissing him. Just a month later, in April 2024, he was informed of his referral to the safeguarding board and the Metropolitan Police. Although the police inquiry was later dropped, the damage to the teacher’s career had already been done, so he decided to launch legal action. His legal representative, Lord Young, director of the Free Speech Union, expressed his dismay at the situation, stating,
„Things have reached a pretty pass in this country if a teacher can be branded a safeguarding risk because he says something that’s incontestably true. If he’d claimed that Islam is the official religion of England, even though that’s not true, I doubt he would have got into any trouble.”
