President Trump’s approval ratings among Hispanic voters have significantly increased. A recent poll by Rasmussen Reports shows that the net support for the American president among this voter base has risen by 8 points.

According to the survey, 53 percent of Hispanic voters approve of the president’s actions, marking a 28-point improvement compared to last month, when his net approval rating within this group was -20 points, as reported by Newsmax.

The increase in support is attributed to the Trump administration’s actions against authoritarian regimes, including the one led by Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro. The survey indicates that 70 percent of Hispanic voters approved of Maduro’s arrest.

Trump’s support among Hispanic voters first surged significantly in May 2025, reaching 62 percent during the introduction of economic measures and stricter immigration controls.

The Less Discussed Downsides of Illegal Immigration

Interestingly, contrary to the Democratic-left narrative, there is an area regarding illegal immigrants where a large portion of ethnic minority voters, particularly Black voters, agree with Trump. Another recent Rasmussen poll reveals that a majority of likely American voters want to penalize companies that employ illegal migrants. The national survey highlights a growing dissatisfaction with illegal immigration and indicates that Americans desire stricter measures that go beyond border security, such as actions against employers attracting illegal migrants to the country.

According to Rasmussen, 55 percent of likely voters stated that the federal government should impose strict penalties on American employers who knowingly hire illegal migrants, while only 29 percent disagreed.

Support for the mandatory use of E-Verify, a federal electronic system used to verify employment eligibility, is even stronger. A total of 68 percent of voters said they would support requiring all employers to use E-Verify.

Moreover, 58 percent of voters agree that employing illegal workers harms legal employees by lowering wages, deteriorating working conditions, and limiting job opportunities for Americans.

This opinion is particularly strong among Republicans, with 87 percent agreeing, but even 40 percent of Democrats and 58 percent of independent voters share this view.

Interestingly, contrary to the leftist narrative that claims action against illegal immigration is fundamentally discriminatory, ethnic minority voters, especially Black voters, agree that illegal employment harms legal workers.

Business groups and leftist politicians have often opposed E-Verify, arguing that it places a burden on employers. However, the survey suggests that voters increasingly view enforcement as a matter of fairness for American workers.
