Soros Network Exposed Again for Funding Islamist Extremist Groups
Left-wing billionaire George Soros and his Open Society Foundations (OSF) have invested vast sums in promoting radical globalist agendas, and under the guise of human rights and combating racism, have financed organisations connected to Islamist extremists operating in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
Citing documents uncovered by a foreign research institute, several European media outlets have reported that millions of euros have been channelled from the Open Society Foundation to groups that serve either as front organisations or intermediaries for the Muslim Brotherhood – one of the world’s most influential Islamist movements. The think tank that published the report described this funding network as an “informal Islamic soft power structure” that, “under the guise of progressive and humanitarian activism, serves specific ideological interests.”
Among the extremist organisations linked to Mr. Soros are the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), and the European Network Against Racism (ENAR).
In the Palestinian territories, terrorist groups such as Al-Haq and Al-Mezan – which are tied to the jihadist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) – also received millions of dollars from OSF.
In Europe, extremist platforms such as FEMYSO (Forum of European Muslim Youth and Student Organisations) and the Collectif Contre l’Islamophobie en France (CCIF) also received financial support from George Soros.
The CCIF was dissolved by French authorities a few years ago due to its extremist affiliations, including the incitement of terrorist acts in France and other countries.
Fighting for human rights and Islamophobia merely a “cover story”
“These organisations received significant amounts — according to some estimates, over one million dollars — ostensibly for combating Islamophobia or promoting human rights, but in reality, part of this funding was used for ideological activities or political-religious influence,”
– the Spanish outlet La Gaceta claims.

The Soros network and its foundations have leveraged both real and perceived social issues to influence the media, public opinion, and political spheres — issues that ideologically benefit the Muslim Brotherhood. This organisation, known as the parent body of Hamas and Al-Qaeda, openly promotes terrorism and incites violence, with the West as its primary target.
A Dutch article described the funding process as a complex structure comprising organisations supported and financed by the Open Society, functioning as channels for political and religious influence. Soros’s foundation, long portrayed as a champion of human rights and democracy, has not responded to the published revelations.
Soros spends vast sums to advance his radical globalist agenda
A few years ago, Judicial Watch published a separate report on the financial and personnel links between the Open Society and the U.S. government, revealing that tens of millions of American taxpayer dollars had found their way into Soros’s programmes, both domestically and abroad.
A separate Judicial Watch investigation exposed an Open Society operation in Guatemala aimed at advancing radical globalist agendas in the Latin American country through legal battles and political subversion. In Guatemala, Soros’s foundation funded liberal media outlets and supported globalist politicians, campaigned for open borders, stirred public sentiment, and — with the aid of other U.S.-funded organisations — exerted influence over state institutions.
Both the United States and Europe are targets of Soros
In 2018, the OSF spent $537,000,000 globally on grants and programme funding, while the organisation’s total budget for that year exceeded $1 billion. Although the foundation claims its goals include strengthening the rule of law, supporting democratically elected governments, promoting fairness in political, legal, and economic systems, and defending fundamental rights — objectives which may appear harmless or even noble — the reality is far different.
Soros is backing a radical left-wing agenda.
In the United States, this includes (among other things):
• Promoting open borders with Mexico and the fight against stricter immigration rules
• Funding the Black Lives Matter movement and other groups involved in the riots in Ferguson, Missouri
• Undermining (weakening) the integrity of the electoral system
• Activities that run against to U.S. counterterrorism efforts
• Supporting dubious international climate agreements that threaten American sovereignty
The Soros foundations have also financed ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) and its affiliated groups, as well as Democratic electoral initiatives.
But Soros did not stop at the United States. He intervened in Europe too, as highlighted by Judicial Watch in its report:
In Europe, Soros and his foundations have worked to dismantle national borders and identities, targeted 20 conservative politicians, financed 21 civil unrest incidents, infiltrated institutions of higher education, and bear responsibility for the European refugee crisis, which will permanently alter the continent.
