They won't shy away from anything to obstruct Nigel Farage from gaining power
The British establishment will resort to underhanded tactics and even flout the law to keep Nigel Farage from seizing power in the United Kingdom, warned Dominic Cummings, the prominent political strategist.
Cummings stated that he personally cautioned Farage, the leader of the right-wing, anti-immigration Reform UK party, about the lengths to which the British establishment is prepared to go to thwart his rise. Farage’s party has been leading opinion polls in the UK for several months, and an increasing number of analyses suggest he could emerge victorious in the next election.
Cummings, who played a pivotal role in the Brexit referendum campaign and later served as chief adviser to former Conservative Prime Minister Boris Johnson before stepping back from politics due to what he witnessed, warned that nothing would deter the establishment from unleashing all its resources against Farage, as noted by Breitbart. He advised Farage to assemble a robust team around him promptly to shield him from these assaults, asserting that if the Reform Party leader ignores this counsel, „it is reasonably likely that they will simply crush him before the election.”
In an interview with The Spectator, Cummings remarked:
„If you consider what the old system would do to prevent [Farage] from entering, it would not be business as usual. And Starmer has indicated this in recent weeks when he said, ‘I can accept a Tory victory, but I cannot accept a Farage victory.'”
According to Cummings, insiders perceive Farage as the next Trump-like threat, one that must be confronted decisively and without mercy. He elaborated:
„They leak medical records, they leak tax records. They tap his phone and leak it. They’ll do whatever it takes.”
Reform UK MP Zia Yusuf ominously responded to Cummings’ remarks, stating simply:
„It has already begun.”

Cummings further noted that populists in other countries will also be targeted, remarking, „This is happening all over Europe, and they will all convince themselves they are united in the fight against fascism.” He claimed that those surrounding the British Prime Minister are motivated by a desire for revenge over Brexit.

The expert also described the Conservative Party as „completely dead.” He stated, „They are like the local thug who used to cause chaos but is now confined to a wheelchair and no longer relevant.”
Cummings asserted that there is now a „pre-revolutionary” atmosphere in British politics, marked by voter frustration, economic stagnation, and institutional failure. He dismissed the government’s immigration promises as „utter nonsense” and criticised the political class’s management of the cost-of-living crisis and the situation in Ukraine.
