Europe Unprepared for Crimes Committed by Migrant Gangs
In Austria, a new type of perpetrator, one that did not exist a decade ago, has emerged in the field of sexual assault. A rapidly spreading pattern of sexual offences has appeared in which vulnerable girls—those who are shy, have low self-esteem, or are easily influenced during puberty—are deliberately targeted, pressured by group coercion, and manipulated into dependency. Smartphones are used as weapons and tools of blackmail. Everything is recorded in order to silence victims and force their obedience.
Sascha Flatz, an Austrian lawyer, made a chilling statement: “If we do not secure our borders, in 30 years this Europe will no longer exist.” The lawyer spoke to Exxpress about what he sees in his daily work.
„Around 80 per cent of my clients are migrants with many of them themselves saying: ‘Those who come from our country are the ones nobody wants. Why do you let them in?'” For Flatz, the conclusion is obvious: Europe needs different politicians, and certainly not Ursula von der Leyen at the helm of the EU.

A New Category of Offender in Austria: Migrant Gangs That Cannot Be Properly Classified
A new type of perpetrator has appeared in Austria in the realm of sexual assault—one that was unknown ten years ago. In this context, Flatz also spoke about a case that shocked the country: the case of his client, Anna. The then 13-year-old girl accused ten youths, the so-called Antonsplatz gang, of sexually abusing her for months in a hotel room and blackmailing her with mobile phone videos.
Two months ago, all suspects were acquitted, and the ruling is final. The court did not believe the girl and her testimony was disregarded. At the time, Sascha Flatz, her lawyer, criticised the decision on exxpressTV.
Since then, however, more victims have come forward from anonymity, including „Lily” (a pseudonym), a minor girl from Cameroon. She described almost identical crimes and disclosed that the same boys harassed her, beat her, and forced her into sexual acts.
In addition, media outlets reported that videos included in the investigative files showed children being abused by the gang. The material existed, yet the victims have still not been traced. According to the lawyer, this again supports Anna’s credibility. His goal is clear: to have the case reopened.
Authorities and Parents Must Pay Closer Attention to Protect Children
This expanding pattern of sexual crime deliberately targets vulnerable girls—those who are shy, lacking self-confidence, or easily influenced in puberty. Group pressure is used to coerce them, and manipulative methods create dependency. Smartphones serve as weapons and tools of extortion. Everything is recorded to silence the girls and force their obedience.
Flatz says that prevention is lacking, even on the part of the city of Vienna:
„Where are the warnings telling girls not to go alone into certain parks—I have never seen one!”
His advice: raise parents’ awareness, and if a girl is approached suspiciously, she should keep walking; in case of an attack, use pepper spray. What is less understood, he adds, is that children often remain silent out of fear and „frequently believe that nobody will believe them. That is why they do not go to the police.”
