Pro-life pregnancy centre attacked after Democrats' convention
Vandal activists painted “Fake clinic, the dead babies are in Gaza” on the window of the clinic.
Shortly after the end of the US Democratic National Convention (DNC) on Thursday night, a pro-life pregnancy counselling centre in Chicago was attacked and vandalised with far-left messaging.
Aid for Women (AFW) provides pregnant women resources in compliance with the Catholic faith, maintains a maternity clinic, and does not perform abortions. Left-wing activists and organisations, including Antifa, have regularly targeted these pro-life pregnancy centres, and one AFW clinic was attacked just hours after the DNC in Chicago, according to The Post Millennial.
Vandals wrote „Fake clinic, dead babies are in Gaza” on the window and disabled the lock on the front door.
For the past 25 years, it’s been my privilege to be a volunteer and board member at Aid for Women, a nonprofit that runs maternity homes and pregnancy services throughout Illinois.

The Washington Examiner recalled that two years ago, the Party for Socialism and Liberation joined forces with an anti-pregnancy group called Reproductive Transparency Now to protest at AFW’s fundraiser, and earlier this year the same group protested outside the clinic.
Last summer, Reproductive Transparency Now held a protest against pro-life clinics. At the time, they used the slogan „We’re not going back,” which has now been adopted by Vice President Kamala Harris’s current presidential election campaign, the paper notes.
Also worth noting is that a mobile abortion clinic from Planned Parenthood was set up near the premises of the party convention offering free medication abortions as well as free vasectomies to those interested.
