MP holds Ukrainian president accountable for Hungarian decision
Gazprom has started supplying gas to Hungary bypassing Ukraine, which is the beginning of the end of the Ukrainian economy. This was done “thanks to the mindless, guilty economic and political position of the Ukrainian authorities,” wrote MP Ilya Kiva, a spokesman for the Opposition Platform – For Life party on his Telegram channel.
Gazprom and Hungary have signed a 15-year contract to supply 4.5 billion cubic meters of gas a year bypassing Ukraine, the Ukrainian MP wrote in his entry.
“Those who approved this, such as Jacenyuk earlier and Zelensky today, can be held accountable for treason, abandoning national interests and sabotage,” Ilya Kiva wrote. The MP addeds that the Ukrainian gas transport system has contributed billions of dollars a year to the Ukrainian budget.
He also drew attention to the fact that Zelensky and his supporters “did this to please their US partners.” According to him, by colluding with America, Ukraine “simply ruined its economy and its future”. The politician likened the situation to “the fatal history of Afghanistan.”
