In the first quarter of 2023, sales of LADA vehicles were up 21.9 per cent on the same period last year.

Since the second half of 2022, the sales of LADA motor vehicles in Russia have climbed steeply, with sales figures hitting new record highs almost each month since last autumn. In September 2022, for example, LADA car sales in Russia reached 20 641, which is 14.1 per cent higher than in August 2022 and 20.1 per cent more than the result in September 2021.

Sales of the LADA Granta passenger car modifications accounted primarily for this increase, with sales reaching 13 421 cars in September 2022, which is 245.4 per cent higher than the sales figures for the model in September 2021.

Figures showed a similar uptrend in November, when overall sales were 13.5 per cent higher than in October.

Of the LADA Granta model, more than 80 per cent more was sold than a year ago. However, the sales of the LADA NIVA Legend model went through the steepest rise, with 132.6 per cent more cars sold in November 2022 than a year before.

In 2022 official LADA dealers sold 188 645 cars, and almost 20 thousand LADA vehicles were delivered to export markets in 17 countries.

Sales were not slowing in 2023. As of February 2023, 34.2 per cent more vehicles were sold than in January 2023 and 4.7% more than in February 2022.

Business was even better in March, when the company sold 89.9 per cent more cars than a year before. Also, the Q1 report of this year suggests that 21.9 per cent more LADA cars were sold than in the first three months a year ago.
