PM Orban: China-Hungary economic and financial ties to expand
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban received Tian Guoli, president of the China Construction Bank (CCB), and the bank's delegation in his office, Mr Orban's press chief told Hungary's state news agency (MTI).
CCB, the world’s second largest bank by market capitalisation, opened its Hungarian branch on Wednesday.
The parties welcomed the opening of the bank’s Budapest office at Thursday’s working lunch, attended by PM Orban and several of his ministers, including Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto, Finance Minister Mihaly Varga, Economic Development Minister Marton Nagy and Minister of Innovation and Culture Janos Csak.
Mr Orban’s press chief said.
The friendship between China and Hungary dates back a long time, the parties emphasized, adding that they both expect that the new branch could contribute to the further expansion of China-Hungary economic, financial, and trade relations.
