Ruffled by the fact that Brussels' famous Manneken Pis statue portrays a peeing boy, a sculptor has decided to create its feminist version. The result, the Peeing Girl Statue, demonstrates that girls can also urinate in dense, strong streams, just like boys, the sculptor said.
Elsa Sahal thought she would create the female version of Brussels' famous Peeing Boy Fountain, also known as Manneken Pis. The result, seen below, does not need further comment.
The sculptor believes that her statue, which also functions as a fountain, demonstrates that girls can also urinate in a dense, strong stream, just like boys. The statue will go on exhibit at the Place Royale in Nantes starting on 8 August.
