German government halts deportation of murderous migrants

Murders committed by Moroccans and Tunisians in Germany now occur at a rate of nearly one in every six days, alongside a palpable surge in crime rates in other areas.

The number of crimes committed by Moroccans and Tunisians in Germany has risen dramatically, the German newspaper Junge Freiheit reports. Compared to the pre-corona virus year of 2019, the number of murders and homicides increased by 110 and 67 per cent respectively – with most perpetrators originating evenly from one of the two countries. Last year, one person was killed in Germany every six days by nationals of these North African countries. This is what statistics put out by the Federal Criminal Office reveal, reports the Bild newspaper.

The situation is even worse for sexual offences such as rape. Between 2019 and 2023, Tunisians showed a 165% increase, while Moroccans a 65% increase. In total, these migrants have been charged with 612 crimes, with the number of unreported crimes likely much higher.

Moroccans and Tunisians are also responsible for an increasing number of assaults and robberies. Last year, these crimes totaled 6746, almost 19 committed per day. North Africans are also more brazenly attacking law enforcement officers, with assaults on police more than doubling compared to 2019. A few weeks ago, Germany was shaken by the news of an aggressive Afghan man stabbing a young police officer to death.

Despite the skyrocketing crime rates perpetrated by North Africans across the board in all areas of criminality, it is very difficult to deport those found guilty, due to the blocking efforts of the Green Party in the federal government coalition. For years, the Greens have been preventing the Maghreb states from being declared safe countries of origin. This means that all immigrants from the region are entitled to remain in Germany if they at any point have applied for asylum.
