Fed up with killings, Germans push back against EU insanity
"How many more times does something have to happen? How many more people have to lose their lives? How many more children have to die before responsible politicians are finally willing to take the necessary measures? Isn't this enough?" Petra Steger demanded to know.
„Today, a different political wind is sweeping across Europe — the wind of a patriotic movement focused on freedom, self-determination, justice, security, and love for one’s homeland,” declared Petra Steger, a member of European Parliament from Austria’s Freedom Party (FPO), at an Alternative for Germany (AfD) campaign event. She emphasized that
She emphasized:
„We can be proud to be part of such a great movement that stands up for its people’s interests. We are here, we are ready, we are on duty, and we are determined to bring about the necessary change—first at home, and then throughout Europe—to finally place our people’s interests at the center of politics.”
Steger pointed to Austria’s political situation, where her party is experiencing historic popularity and could, for the first time, provide the country’s chancellor.
„For us, the people come before the chancellor. As politicians, it is our duty to serve the people, not to lecture them like all the other parties do in this country and in Austria. Our mission is to finally implement what our people want and need. That is our primary goal. We promised five good years for Austria, and we will deliver five good years,”
the MEP said, adding that the European liberal establishment is now in panic mode, even prompting Manfred Weber to travel to Vienna to call the Austrian People’s Party (OVP) and Chancellor Karl Nehammer to account.
„Now all of Europe can see what happens when the will of the voters is ignored to this extent and the strongest party is excluded. People are fed up with not being heard. Some believe that votes for the SPO or AfD count less than those for the OVP or CDU,”
she emphasized. Steger also addressed the state of the failed German government:
„Starting with the Greens and former Economy Minister Robert Habeck, who doesn’t even understand what insolvency means. As tragic as it is, it’s still better than Baerbock, who once demanded a 360-degree turnaround from Putin. Then there’s the FDP and its lead candidate, former Finance Minister Christian Lindner—this is no longer a political party, but a self-help group. They should be collecting sympathy donations instead of membership fees. The SPD is in a disastrous state, and managing to be the most unpopular chancellor in history in a country shaped by Merkel is quite an achievement.”
She then urged AfD voters to not let themselves be labeled as extremists. „The real extremists are those who try to impose a leftist worldview by force, who seek to distort our language, who want to tell us that there are more than 60 genders, and that the concept of male and female is outdated. The extremists are those who, like the EU, want to eliminate freedom of speech and the press in Europe—replacing it with censorship. They are the ones who want to cancel entire elections, just as they did in Romania,” she stated.
„We, on the other hand, represent the center of society. We stand for normality, common sense, honesty, and straightforwardness. We say things as they are, without sugarcoating. And I am proud of that. That’s why, dear friends, I am convinced that Germany will follow Austria’s lead. Together, we will achieve the necessary shift and make AfD the dominant force in this country. I am convinced it’s only a matter of time,”
Steger stressed also noting that it is time to put an end to the European Union’s madness. „Germany needs politicians like Alice Weidel, who will go to the European Council and veto this madness—who will finally stand up for their own people’s interests. It is truly unprecedented in history that a political union’s leadership deliberately works to destroy its own member states. That is exactly what the European Union is doing now—undermining security, freedom, competitiveness, the economy, industry, and thus prosperity across Europe. Migration, debt, and war propaganda are dragging the EU down, as it continues to act against the interests of its own member states and citizens,” she warned.
Millions of illegal migrants continue to cross European borders unchecked, and with this flow come extremists, terrorists, and dangerous individuals. Our governments stand idly by, doing nothing, while violence, assaults, and stabbings skyrocket in our countries. The consequences of this can be seen daily in Europe, in Germany, and Austria. How many more times does something have to happen? How many more lives have to be lost? How many more children have to die before responsible politicians finally take action? Isn’t this enough?”
the MEP asked. She highlighted that in most cases, these violent acts are committed by illegal immigrants who should not have been in the country in the first place, as their asylum applications were rejected years ago.
„Instead of waking up and addressing these issues, the other parties continue their unbearable romantic notions of so-called tolerance, turning a blind eye to the problem. This paves the way for radical Islam to infiltrate Europe,” Steger concluded.
