Despite a culture of intimidation and silencing, which enjoys a staggering degree of political and financial backing, many in America have grown tired of the trans lobby. Now, sanity strikes back in a 40-page study.

With a view to countering the mindless advocates of LGBTQ rights, an important work was published with the primary aim of protecting children in the United States. The study entitled The Transgender Leviathan was written by Pedro L. Gonzalez, the Kontra news portal writes.

Along with the work accomplished by Abigail Shrier, conservative-thinking Americans are now striking back with a 40-page report. Pedro L. Gonzalez, an associate editor at Chronicles Magazine, penned the study at the request of the American Principles Project Foundation.

In the preface, the foundation’s president, Terry Schilling – making no gestures – writes this:

Americans are inundated with information around the transgenderism issue, but we only get one side of the story. Unfortunately, that version of the story is fiction – loaded with misinformation, falsehoods, and even deliberate distortions. […] What makes this even more difficult is that it’s impossible to compromise between the opposing arguments. One side is right, and one side is horribly wrong.

What follows is the study by Gonzales, as summarised by Kontra chapter by chapter, adhering to the structure of the report.

Patient Zero

Something significant happened in 2013, when „gender identity disorder” was simply dropped from the fifth edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5), a diagnostic tool for psychiatrists in the US, and replaced with „gender dysphoria”.

You could say that this is just a symbolic gesture, an innocent play on words – perhaps not even intentional. Actually, however, it means that the group of symptoms had officially been stripped of its nature as a pathology and renamed a kind of dissatisfaction, a restlessness.

While the DSM-5 states that gender dysphoria is relatively rare in adults (2-14 cases per 100,000), a 2021 US study puts the number of people who consider themselves transgender in the US youth population at around 9 per cent. In fact, according to the Williams Institute’s 2022 analysis, the rate is already 1 in 5 among children aged 13 to 17.

And what are the two main drivers of all this trans idiotism? Ideology and interest: more profit and power.

In each case, the end result is the same: a society living a lie, the undermining of the institution of the family and a radical redefinition of the relationship of the individual to his or her own body, as well as of the citizen to the state.

Bad medicine

The essay then recalls the much repeated horrifying and revolting story of John William Money, New Zealand-born American psychologist and sexologist, and the Reimer twins.

Throughout his life, Dr Money had been obsessed with researching the theory of gender neutrality and inculcating those around him. Unsurprisingly, it was in his research at Johns Hopkins University that he first published that gender identity is not a matter of biology, but of nurture.

Dr Money was also a great wizard with words: he consistently promoted the term „paraphilia” as opposed to the terms „perversion” or “deviancy”, which he saw as stigmatising. By combining the words para (abnormal, irregular) and philia (love, liking), he explicitly gave a rather positive connotation to what were simply perversions.

Until the mid-1990s, the practice of sex reassignment surgery was performed mainly on adults. The ideological flood, however, led to The Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, published by the American Endocrine Society, officially recommending by 2009, that puberty blockers be given for the treatment of „transsexual adolescents” . There are now more than 60 gender reassignment clinics in the US and the number of those offering hormone therapy to minors is now over 300.

Although the Kontra portal has repeatedly mentioned that it is common for liberals to joke about the existence of „gender reassignment for preschoolers”, the US National Institutes of Health (NIH) recommends mastectomy from the age of 13, and the World Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) recommends puberty blockers from the age of 9. Of course, after all, these ages really are not preschoolers.

And anyone who tries to hinder the provision of immediate help, treatment or intervention is not only malicious, but also poses a deadly threat to gender-distressed youth. And who will be labelled the villians? Of course, the „sceptical” (that is, normal), protective parents.

Yet the graph below shows that suicide rates have jumped among 12- to 23-year-olds where and when they have been allowed to undergo interventions without parental consent.

Big medicine

Money is a factor. The Vanderbilt Clinic agrees, and they don’t even deny it. Transgenderism is a big money maker, requiring a lifetime of expensive maintenance treatments for unfortunate, exploited patients.

A mastectomy costs 40,000 dollars, a routine hormone treatment for one person brings in thousands of dollars per year, and since 2018, the number of patients treated has increased from 1 to 2,000. Just do the maths.

However, in a 2015 article called “You Won’t Believe How Much It Costs to Be Transgender in America, a trans woman named Elle Bradford provides a clear insight into how expensive transitioning can be:

• “gender confirmation surgery” costs $30,000
• facial feminization surgery comes at roughly the same price
• price of a breast augmentation surgery runs between $5,000 and $10,000
• additional hormone therapy costs at least $1,500 per year.

This means that, by default, an intriguing little gender reassignment experiment cost 70,000 dollars, back in 2015. And then there are the „maintenance costs” for as long as you live – and provided you don’t change your mind. Well, some spend this amount on a luxury car, some spend it on something else.

Regarding hormones: originally developed by Abbott Laboratories in a joint venture, today Lupron is sold by AbbVie, a known pharmaceutical giant. It is interesting to mention that it is also one of the drugs used to chemically castrate sexual deviants.

Lupron has generated 5 billion dollars in profits for the distributor since 2013 and AbbVie has spent nearly 60 million dollars on lobbying activities in the period.

They’re coming for your kids

This also means, as we have already discussed, that they must get rid of parents who prove to bee too stubborn.

Johanna Olson-Kennedy, a doctor who personally recommends mastectomies from the age of 13 in her own publications, said she had no qualms about taking recalcitrant” parents to court. “It’s not my first line to go to court to get somebody what they need. But it is my second line, and I will do it,” Dr Olson-Kennedy said, when discussing how to overcome parental obstacles.

If not in the courts, they’ll start the process in the school, behind the parents’ backs. Abigail Shrier has uncovered several such cases. For example in Florida, one family filed a lawsuit against a school district after discovering that the staff of a middle school had secretly met with their 13-year-old daughter to develop a transgender “support plan.”

The politics of transgenderism

It comes as no surprise that Gonzales establishes that while transgenderism advocates portray themselves as heroes fighting for persecuted, marginalized causes, they actually have an intensive, gigantic support mechanism behind them.

We can start (and even finish) our chain of thoughts by pointing out that dog fetishist drag queen Sam Brinton has been appointed deputy assistant secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Office of Nuclear Energy. Of course, we can also mention that the biggest political beneficiary of LGBTQ issues is the Democratic Party. In the 2020 election, Democrats received nearly seven million dollars in funding from LGBTQ-linked sources, while Republicans received only 80,000 dollars.

So what, and who, are these sources? Let’s take a closer look:

Oh, these folks always suspect that Open Society and poor philanthropist george Soros is behind everything. This is Hungarian PM Orban’s obsession, anyway. Bill & Melinda Gates have also made it to the top 10… Unsurprisingly, the organisations listed above have deep ties to the US Democrats. Here we go again.

Social contagion

And this is where the institutions come in (again), who are happy to spread the plague. In New York, for example, Drag Story Hour NYC, a nonprofit whose cross-dressing performers are invited to engage with children as young as three, has received $207,000 in taxpayer dollars since 2018 from city contracts for appearances at public schools, street festivals, and libraries.

In 2018, Dr Lisa Littman, assistant professor at Brown University, confirmed in a study that

“the onset of gender dysphoria seemed to occur in the context of belonging to a peer group where one, multiple, or even all of the friends have become gender dysphoric and transgender-identified during the same time frame.”

And yes, similar behavioural or eating disorders have always been present among teenagers. But doctors and teachers never encouraged adolescents to maximize their self-harm, anorexia was never explicitly glorified whereas “trans” has become synonymous, in the current culture, with individual freedom, self-actualization, and courageousness, the author points out.

And the LGBTQ agenda can be monetised from all angles: one Forbes analysis found that companies with ads that contain LGBT messaging can increase sales by 40 per cent. The Business Insider reported last year that since Citi launched its “True Name” 157 cards -which allow transgender and “non-binary” people to use their chosen names – it has seen more than 10,000 people update their cards to correspond with their new identities.

How to move forward?

Gonzales concludes that America needs to be put on a better path, one where the vulnerable are not encouraged to self-destruct, and to do so, we need to speak out against the mainstream institutions. For a long time, politics was perceived as downstream of culture; it was a product of social needs. However, transgenderism and similar ideologies have been imposed by a manifestly top-down approach, meaning i.e. forced upon society from above, creating mass demand for similar deviancies.

The author doesn’t mince his words: the most important thing is that gender reassignment surgeries, puberty blockers and hormones should be banned by law for minors . and that any attempt at gender reassignment should be considered quackery. Hospitals, clinics, and physicians administering these procedures must face fines and have their medical licenses revoked and the National Institutes of Health (NIH) must refuse to fund any institutions that portray hormone therapies or genital mutilation as best practices.

Examples that already exist in Texas and Florida could be scaled up to a national strategy.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is investigating AbbVie and Endo Pharmaceuticals under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act to determine whether they marketed and promoted Lupron Depot and Supprelin LA, respectively, to transgender youth despite not being approved for that use and can have detrimental and even irreversible side effects.

In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis’s new Parental Rights in Education law prohibits classroom instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity topics to young children. The concept of Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) must also be separated from schools, where topics – such as critical race theory or transgender ideology – are introduced to children as Trojan horses.
