The Hungarian prime minister received Vaclav Klaus, the former president of the Czech Republic, in his office in Budapest, the PM's press chief informed Hungary's press agency (MTI).

The meeting included discussions of the war in Ukraine and the sanctions-induced crisis affecting the countries of Europe, which threatens with economic decline and energy shortages.

Vaclav Klaus also presented Viktor Orban with his latest book, ‘The Return of Inflation: The Slippery Road to Debt’, which will soon be published in Hungarian by MCC Press, said Bertalan Havasi.
