PM Orban: Hungary supports Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity

On Tuesday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban had talks with Ukrainian head of state Volodymyr Zelenskyy about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict by telephone.

As a neighbouring state, Hungary is following developments in Ukraine with concern, Hungary’s prime minister said during the talks. PM Orban informed President Zelensky that Hungary will support joint EU efforts to resolve the situation within the framework of the coordinated European response action. As part of this, the government is maintaining ongoing consultations with its Western allies, the Hungarian prime minister said. During their consultation, PM Viktor Orban assured President Volodymyr Zelensky that Hungary will continue to support Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
