The Hungarian cabinet held a government meeting to kick off the year, with Prime Minister Viktor Orban sharing a photo of it on his social media page. The premier writes,

„We have entered the age of dangers. After the pandemic, we have to deal with the war and the accompanying economic and energy crisis. However, we will not give up our big goals even in this situation: we have adopted a budget which focuses on keeping utility bills low. We will protect families and avoid a European recession. Go 2023!”
