Violent migrants 'produce' shocking stats in Germany
No one is safe on the trains or in the country's train stations.
In Germany alone, there have been approximately 75 violent and sexual offences per day in train stations and on trains over the past year. Authorities recorded a total of 25,640 violent incidents, marking a sharp 42 percent increase compared to 2019. The number of sexual offences grew by 60 percent in the same period. Offenders used knives in 555 cases.
This development is widely acknowledged as not unexpected but rather a direct consequence of mass migration, according to the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which shared a post on its social media recently. According to AfD, the social-democratic-green-liberal federal government and the Christian Democratic politicians deny any link between their migration policies and the rising violence in Germany’s train stations.
„But the facts and figures are clear. Some 57 percent of the suspects investigated for sexual offences were foreigners. The proportion of suspects with a migrant background is even higher, as the remaining 43 percent include Germans with dual citizenship. In violent crimes, more than 40 percent of suspects are foreign nationals, not counting dual nationals,”
– reads the post by AfD. The party argues that it is outrageous and unacceptable that the government has failed to address these alarming statistics. There have been no consequences for recent incidents, such as a shooting at the Frankfurt train station, or a terrorist knife attack in Solingen.
„The train stations will only be safer once again with the AfD, because only we can address the consequences of mass migration, and only we deport criminals with foreign nationality,”
– the statement concludes.
