The Political Landscape of Great Britain Could Change Forever

According to their justification, the Greens support open borders and wish to accommodate an unlimited number of men of uncertain origin—hence, their voters “must get what they vote for.”

The Reform Party explicitly excludes its own constituencies and councils. There is even a postcode checker that indicates “red” (Green-priority) and “blue” (Reform-safe) zones.

Outrage over the proposal has erupted not only from the left side of the political spectrum. The governing Labour Party has labelled the plan as “grotesque,” “disgusting,” and “toxic.”

Anna Turley, a member of one of Labour’s sister parties, stated: “Punishing places where people do not vote for the Reform Party is a violation of fundamental democratic principles. Farage does not want to fix the system; he merely seeks to drive a toxic wedge between our communities.”

A spokesperson for the Green Party remarked that the Reform Party repeatedly makes “disgusting announcements” to distract voters from other pressing issues. However, those who envision the Greens—who are expected to make significant strides in local elections—as akin to the German Greens could not be more mistaken.

This alliance is merely tactical and ideologically incoherent. The Greens and socialists stand for LGBTQ rights, feminism, secularism, and open borders—while Islamists advocate precisely the opposite (elements of Sharia, oppression of women, homophobia, blasphemy laws). The alliance is held together solely by pragmatism against a “common enemy”: the United States, Israel, and the “white” West. This may prove beneficial for the left in the short term, but in the long run, demographics (the rapid growth of the Muslim population) will destabilize this strange and dangerous alliance—sooner or later, Islamists will no longer need the left, as noted by nius.de.

Conservative voters are turning away from the Tories

In February 2026, the Green Party won the Gorton and Denton (Greater Manchester) by-election with 40.7 percent—previously considered a safe seat for Labour. The campaign utilized Urdu-language leaflets, photographs of people wearing keffiyehs taken outside mosques, and slogans such as “Labour must be punished for Gaza” and “End Islamophobia. End Reform.”

Muslim voter groups and local mosques mobilized massively. Reform UK came second, with Labour in third place.

The alliance also organizes joint events, such as the “Gaza is the Compass” conferences and “Together Alliance” anti-far-right demonstrations, in collaboration with the British Muslim Council, the Greens, the Left, and trade unions. Accusations of antisemitism are rampant and numerous. Several Green candidates have been suspended or arrested in preparation for the upcoming local elections due to antisemitic posts, and there was an attack on a synagogue “in retaliation” for Gaza, with Israel being compared to the Nazis.

Meanwhile, the Conservatives (Tories) are struggling with an increasing loss of significance. Although Chairwoman Kemi Badenoch adopts a critical stance on illegal immigration and recently defended a party colleague who expressed frustration over mass praying in Trafalgar Square, the party is nonetheless in a historical crisis.

Following a defeat in the 2024 elections, they plummeted to 17–19 percent in opinion polls—often trailing behind Labour and sometimes even the Greens. They face the threat of losing an additional 760–1,000 seats in the local elections (approximately 5,000 seats across England).

Two parties represent the hardline stance on immigration. They advocate for the deportation of every person living in the country illegally (Reform: “every illegal migrant”; Restore: “every single person”). Both parties plan to establish a central authority for enforcement. Illegal arrivals should be detained immediately and sent back without asylum procedures. Criminal foreigners, those receiving social benefits, and those who do not integrate should be the first to leave.

Reform UK is advocating a five-year program (“Operation Restoring Justice”): a UK Deportation Command (similar to the US ICE), the establishment of deportation centers (with up to 24,000 places), potentially up to 288,000 deportations annually, with the focus in the first parliamentary term on 500,000–600,000 individuals.

Nigel Farage made a firm statement:

“Anyone who enters the UK illegally will be arrested and deported, and they cannot stay, period. […] The only way to stop the boats is to arrest and deport everyone who arrives by this route.”
