Soros s son meets Austrian chancellor
Alexander Soros, the son of US stock market speculator George Soros, visited Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in Vienna.
The Soros empire seems to be active again in Europe, at least according to a photo posted by Alexander Soros on Twitter. George Soros s son travelled to Vienna, where he met Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. The young heir held a good discussion about CEU, the so-called Soros university with the chancellor, his post suggests.
Good to be back in Vienna and meet again with Austrian Chancellor @sebastiankurz. We had a good discussion about @ceus home here in Vienna, a European perspective for the Western Balkans, and covid recovery. ???????? ???????? pic.twitter.com/ek7JP2npdw

Members of the Soros clan have an excellent relationship with Mr Kurz.
Last year, they met during the 56th Munich Security Policy Conference, with George Soros also in attendance.
Here s a tweet shared by Soros Jr. back then:
Great for my father and I too visit Austrian Chancellor @SebastianKurz in #Munich to discuss the future of the @ceu in #Austria and the importance of a European perspective for the Western Balkans. ???????? #weareceu #MSC2020 pic.twitter.com/5zhfoGAuWB

In 2018, Mr Kurz received George Soros and his son in his office to discuss the opening of the Vienna campus of CEU.
Back then, the stock market speculator also met with Austrian Minister of Education Heinz Fassmann to review various technical issues, such as the accreditation of CEU degrees.
Although Vienna s elite was happy to welcome the arrival of Soros s university (the left-wing city management even awarded the stock market speculator with the Grand Decoration of Honour in Gold for Services to the City of Vienna), the locals were less delighted to hear about the news. Expressing their disapproval some even posted comments, republished by the Austrian Kurier portal, such as „this is not a good friendship”, or „keep this devil away from us”, or „what could he (Mr Kurz) be discussing with the enemy of mankind?”
