In July last year, the employment level in Hungary was already approaching 4.7 million. At that time, the state secretary for employment policy of the Innovation and Technology Ministry noted that more people were in jobs than in 2019, before the coronavirus outbreak.

The column chart PM Orban shared on social media shows that the number of wage-earners has increased by more than one million since 2010, when Hungary’s right-wing government took office.

Hungary is going forward, not backward,

Hungary’s prime minister wrote in his post.
