Not everyone is mourning the policeman who was stabbed to death by an Afghan national in Mannheim. An Islamist TikTok agitator is celebrating the act of violence and threatening to repeat it.

Germany is in shock and mourning after an Afghan migrant stabbed a police officer to death in Mannheim. However, not everyone is mourning, and some have even taken to social media to rejoice over the brutal murder. In a one-minute video, a man calling himself „Meta Imam” described the murderer as a role model and urged other Islamists to follow his example.

Criminal lawyer Udo Vetter gave Focus Online his assessment of the legal situation. In his opinion, the man committed three crimes in the short video. Firstly, he approved and glorified criminal acts; secondly, he encouraged people to commit a crime; and finally, he could be prosecuted for inciting hatred. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison,” Mr Vetter explained.

When contacted by the German newspaper Junge Freiheit, a spokesman for Baden-Württemberg’s criminal investigation office could not confirm media reports that the Islamist man – aka „Meta Imam” – had already been identified. He was also unable to provide an answer as to whether the assailant was under investigation and for what possible crimes. Last Friday, a 25-year-old Afghan national named Sulaiman A. attacked Michael Sturzenberger, a well-known critic of Islam, and other participants of a public event with a knife, killing a policeman in the process.
