Wolfe: US tax dollars go to Soros-backed organisations
According to Trump's erstwhile deputy assistant secretary, USAID's goal is to "push cultural Marxism" in Central Europe.
USAID Administrator Samantha Power has arrived in Hungary in a bid to „protect human rights” and „help independent media thrive.” Samantha Power also shared a video message on this on Twitter, the Hungarian Mandiner portal writes.
Meanwhile, Power’s statement has attracted several comments on Twitter. James Jay Carafano, vice president of the conservative Heritage Foundation, wrote:
„This is why our allies think Biden and his crew are buffoons.”
In the meantime, William Wolfe, former deputy assistant secretary in the Trump administration, also reacted on Twitter to the short clip shared by the USAID chief, saying
US tax dollars going to Soros-backed organizations to push cultural Marxism under the cover of “independent media” and “civic organizations” in an effort to undermine Hungary’s pro-Christian, pro-family conservative society. https://t.co/bIICqNMRBh

Howard J. Shatz, a renowned US economist, also took to Twitter to share a comment on the organisation’s planned activities in Hungary. Mr Shatz wrote:
Regardless of what one thinks of #Hungary, it seems exceedingly strange that @USAID is spending any of its limited budget on a high-income country that is both a NATO partner and an EU member https://t.co/8SkG6Jznaa
