This is how George Soros takes over US streets

In the US several public figures have recently weighed in on George Soros s potential role in the riots that have been ongoing for days. Activists from Antifa and Black Lives Matter are also among those causing mayhem on US streets. After some research, V4NA has found that both groups had received handsome amounts, either directly or indirectly, through the Open Society Foundations.

Violent riots across the United States have been continuing for days now. The mass demonstrations by left-wing extremists began in Milwaukee over the death of an African-American man named George Floyd, who died because of police brutality.

Antifa is one of the groups behind the protests, marred by incidents of arson, theft, vandalism, and murders. Videos shared on social media appear to show members of the group giving young black people money to do damage.

On Sunday, President Donald Trump announced on Twitter that the US will designate Antifa as a terrorist organisation.

Among the radical left-wing activists infiltrating the peaceful protests, we also see many young black people, presumably members of the African-American organisation called Black Lives Matter (BLM).

What is BLM?

The movement officially began in 2013 with the use of the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter on social media, after the 2012 killing of a 17-year-old black teen, Trayvon Martin, by a man named George Zimmerman. A year later, Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges by the US Circuit Court. Ever since, the group has attended every protest staged for, or on behalf of, African-American communities. Although it has built up an international network, its mission has completely changed since its beginnings.

In 2017, the American Fox News reported that BLM had called for a boycott against „white capitalism”, asking its supporters  not to spend money at „white corporations” between 25 November and 1 January.

Concerning BLM s call, the television channel spoke to  former Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke, who openly voiced his views on the movement.

„This has George Soros funding written all over it, his movement the anti-capitalism movement, the anti-socialist movement has hijacked Black Lives Matter and they use them as a mask,” the ex-sheriff, a regular critic of the BLM movement, said.

Clarke seems to have hit the nail right on the head.

The Washington Times wrote in 2016 that liberal foundations had assured BLM of their support. According to the American daily, the Ford Foundation and Borealis Philanthropy had announced the formation of the Black-Led Movement Fund, a six-year pooled donor campaign aimed at raising $100 million for the Movement for Black Lives coalition.

George Soros s Open Society Foundations (OSF) granted Black Lives Matter $33 million in funding, according to an article published by the Washington Times.

However, Ken Zimmerman, OSF s Director of US Programs, denied having ever awarded such an amount to BLM.

Curiously enough, Borealis Philanthropy also appears among the grantees of George Soros. In 2016 alone, it received more than 2 million dollars in funding through Soros s OSF, according to data made available on OSF s official website.

Citing a leaked document in 2016, Breitbart Jerusalem published a report alleging that OSF had granted 650 thousand dollars to Black Lives Matter in 2015 to invest  in technical assistance and support for the groups at the core of the burgeoning #BlackLivesMatter movement.

George Soros supports a number of other organisations besides BLM in the US, OSF s database reveals. In 2018, a group called Release Leads received $279,860 to organise public live events featuring the Black Lives Matter movement UK.

Is Soros behind the US riots?

In the past few days, many leading conservative figures in the US have blamed George Soros for the unprecedented wave of violence the continent is facing.

Bill Mitchell, former Republican member of the Illinois House of Representatives, argued on Twitter that if Soros was arrested and his assets were seized, the situation would be instantly resolved.

Conservative commentator Chuck Woolery also flipped out on Twitter:

Hollywood actor James Woods posted the following message:

Candace Owens, one of the most popular Republican activists and conservative commentators, is also concerned about Soros s role in the riots. It a recent tweet, she said Police Chief Medaria Arradondo had confirmed during Thursday s press conference that many of the protesters in Minneapolis were not locals and they were not from the city.

Ms Owens declared that OSF support chaos in Minneapolis.

„My guess: As he did with Antifa, Democrat George Soros has these thugs on payroll” she wrote.

Interestingly, the Open Society Foundation responded to this tweet, stating that „Mr. Soros and the Open Society Foundations oppose all violence and do not pay people to protest.”

Antifa is known to be an aggressive group of internationally diversified, radical communist youth. Their most important tactic is to create chaos. They attack those with whom they disagree, labelling them as fascists or racists. The organisation is also quite active in Europe, staging regular protests and stunts in Germany.

The far-left group also appeared at the 2017 G20 summit in Hamburg, causing severe disruptions and wreaking havoc. During the violent riots, nearly 500 policemen were injured. At the time, former Foreign Minister Sigmar Gabriel suggested that the incidents should be examined by a newly created international investigation team, because some of the „Antifas” had arrived from abroad and they spoke no German. He also said that the Antifas were in fact „no different from neo-Nazis.” Since then, no international investigation team has been established, perhaps because it was already known that the Antifa gatherings were in fact different „projects” within a broader organisation – the Alliance for Global Justice (AfGJ) – also partly sponsored by George Soros through OSF.

Although AfGJ  has received no direct funding from OSF in recent years, they have been given money by a number of other organisations that are supported by Soros s foundation.

One of these is the New World Foundation, which gave AfGJ $135,000 last year. Between 2016 and 2017 the foundation received half a million of George Soros s dollars.

The Proteus Fund also endowed AfGJ with $135,000, while OSF transferred $2.3 million to Proteus in 2018 alone.

The year before last, the Tides Foundation provided a funding of $313,000 to AfGJ. Tides, one of Soros s favourite beneficiary, received over $2.4 million from OSF in 2018.
