Migration situation in France reaching untenable scale
Violent migrants attack and rape women, children and even young boys.
After a nine-month investigation, a 38-year-old homeless Moroccan national living in France has been arrested and charged with the rape of a 15-year-old boy. The incident took place in April at the Villebourbon SNCF station in Montauban. As reported by La Depeche du Midi, the teenage victim, from a village near Cahors in Lot department, travelled to Montauban to celebrate his 16th birthday on 13 April. After attending a rugby match of the Montalbanese Sports Union, he found himself without a place to stay overnight. Seeking refuge at the train station, he encountered the migrant, who approached him accompanied by a dog.
The investigation revealed that the suspect followed the teenager and forcibly led him to a parking area, where he subjected him to an attack described as brutal and violent. The victim, in a state of shock, was unable to resist. Following the incident, the teenager sought medical attention, and biological samples were collected as evidence.
The Tarn-et-Garonne police launched an extensive investigation, aided by the victim’s description of the suspect and DNA evidence. A composite sketch emphasizing the man’s missing teeth was instrumental in identifying him. On 12 December, during a routine identity check in Montauban, police apprehended the suspect, who was later identified as a 38-year-old undocumented man from Fez, Morocco.
In police custody, the man denied involvement with the assistance of an Arabic-speaking translator, claiming he was not in Montauban at the time of the attack. However, investigators confronted him with the DNA match from the victim’s medical examination, confirming his identity.
The suspect was presented to Montalbanese investigating judge Elsa Servant-Bouchite on 13 December. Despite maintaining his innocence, he was formally charged with rape and sexual assault of a minor. At the request of both the prosecution and the judge, the suspect was placed in pre-trial detention at Beausoleil remand center.
Women feel unsafe because of migrants
In another atrocity, also in France, three Algerian migrants raped a woman. The case involves a 42-year-old Polish woman who was visiting her daughter and a friend on 13 December. She stopped at her friend’s apartment in the city centre, which happened to be next door to the three accused men. The apartment was reportedly squatted by the migrants.
The prosecutors say the three men gang-raped the Polish mother, but few details have been disclosed on the case. Six men are said to have squatted the apartment in question, but so far only three have been arrested following police questioning. Although the men had deportation orders in force, it is not clear why the three men have not been deported.
The deportation rate of Algerians staying in France under a deportation order is a dismal 0.2 per cent. In other words, only 2 Algerians out of every 1000 Algerians who have been issued a deportation order are returned to their country of origin. This figure came to light after an Algerian national, who had long been issued a deportation order, raped, tortured and murdered 12-year-old Lola in Paris, shocking the country in 2022.
