Hungary's Orban attends PMs' meeting in preparation of EU Summit

On Monday morning Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban attended a video conference in preparation of this week's EU Summit, his press chief told Hungary's state news agency (MTI).

Besides Hungary’s PM, the preparatory discussion initiated by European Council President Charles Mitchel was also joined by Estonia’s, Finland’s, Ireland’s, Austria’s, Slovakia’s, the Czech Republic’s and Sweden’s premiers, as well as Bulgaria’s president.

According to the council session’s preliminary agenda, at the summit beginning on Thursday the EU heads of state and government will discuss the Russia-Ukraine war and issues pertaining to energy supplies and the economy, as well as defence and security.
