Schools force teachers to take white privilege training
A school district is forcing teachers to participate in trainings where they are taught about their "white privilege". The aim is to make them even more aware of their unconscious bias.
The report says that as part of the training, teachers are forced to acknowledge they are living on stolen land that rightfully belongs to Native Americans, Disrnr.com writes. The details were explained by Journalist Christopher F. Rufo on his website. The case involves teachers in a San Diego school district.
After watching clips of Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi, the trainers tell the teachers: „you are racist,” „you are upholding racist ideas, structures, and policies,” and that they must commit to becoming „antiracist” in the classroom. They must submit to the new racial orthodoxy. pic.twitter.com/EEFNc0H1em

The training features short videos of enlightened authors like Ibram X. Kendi, whose books include How to be an Antiracist and Antiracist Baby. The point of the training is to compel teachers into committing to become „antiracist in the classroom.” They must „confront and examine [their] white privilege,” and „teach others to see their privilege.”
As a result, left-wing ideologies, especially with regard to racism, are flourishing and spreading in schools and among teachers. In Chicago, this has reached such a level that the local teachers union tweeted out that the push to reopen schools amidst the pandemic is rooted in sexism, racism, and misogyny. Interestingly, the post has since been deleted.
Chicago teachers unions, folks. This is why we need #SchoolChoice and #EducationFreedom pic.twitter.com/DWrVZfIPlI

Institutions are also trying to fight racism. Many schools, for example, began to change their names that they have had for years without any objections from the public. This is also what happened in Falls City, Virginia, where the school board voted to change the names of two schools named after one of the first presidents and another Founding Father of the US, freebecon.com says.
The reason is that the both politicians, Thomas Jefferson and George Mason, owned slaves. While the majority of community members were opposed to renaming the schools, board chairman Greg Anderson argued that the change was „in the best interest” of students and „a necessary part of our equity work.”
