An account set up on Twitter to share content from former US president Donald Trump s new platform was suspended by the social network within hours.

On Tuesday, former US President Donald Trump launched his own communication platform to keep in touch with his followers. Trump is a space that allows the former president to post comments, images and videos, which followers can share on Twitter and Facebook. However, the new platform does not have a feature to allow users to add a comment to Trump s posts.

To share content from the former president s platform, someone set up an account titled @DJTDesk. Although an earlier tweet clearly confirms that it was „not Trump tweeting”, Twitter was swift to suspend the account within hours and it continues to be blocked.

The first tweet on the account was posted at 12:42, just a few hours after the launch of Tump s platform. The platform kept reposting content from the blog and branding critics who have called for its removal „loopy liberals”, until it was suspended.
