Hungary to receive significant EU funds

Hungary is slated to receive EU funds, Finance Minister Mihaly Varga announced on his social media page.

The funding is aimed at reducing fossil-sourced energy use in the Central European country, the daily Magyar Nemzet reported citing the minister’s post. „At the EU Finance Ministers’ Council, it has been decided that Hungary could receive nearly 300 billion forints (over 700 million euros) to reduce fossil energy use,” Mr Varga wrote.
