Greta Thunberg s hypocrisy exposed
The climate crusader who regularly speaks out against deforestation has become editor-in-chief for a day at a newspaper printed in hundreds of thousands of copies each day. Apparently, Greta only stikes a critical tone when she is not affected.
Although Climate crusader Greta Thunberg has yet to earn herself a degree and only goes to school with fits and starts, she became editor-in-chief at the popular Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter for one day. The fly in her editorial ointment was a large, full-page advertisement by BMW published the same day, with the carmaker s message written across a board similar to the one used by Greta during her school strike. Many have criticised the ad, saying it promoted cars with powerful engines that are not friendly to the environment.

This, however, was not the only glitch during Greta s working day. Sweish daily Dagens Nyheter has both an online and a printed edition and sells hundreds of thousands of copies every day.
Activists and environmentalists have spoken out against deforestation for years. According to pseudo-civilians, books, for example, have a very detrimental effect on the environment in this regard, because they are one main reason behind the felling of trees, which leads to the destruction of our natural habitat. The printing of books, of course, cannot be stopped, as the demand for the printed versions is still bigger than for their digital counterparts.
Although Ms Thunberg spoke out against deforestation, apparently she had no issues when it came to working for Dagens Nyheter.
Besides, the printing of newspapers requires ink, another ingredient climate crusaders constantly warn about, citing its harmful effects to the environment. They say ink contains certain chemicals that have the potential to pollute the environment, just like throwing away an old ink or toner cartridge.
Let s not forget that Ms Thunberg s mother also became known after her book was published in tens of thousands of copies, and its promotion has played a big role in pushing Greta towards the limelight.
